GOVERNOR BELLO: A STANDARD NIGER STATE MUST MAINTAIN AND SUSTAIN
By Muhammad Nasir
And it is no longer news that the nation and most particularly, Niger state is already preparing for the much talked about 2019 general elections. While it is only God that can tell and make the apt predications of what the end shall be, as human beings... We can at least push, wish and expect.
Oh yes; expect! That is where the governor of Niger state comes in. Whereas Niger state has afore time established a well though out but not constitutional power rotation formulae. A formula that thus far allows the rotation of power across the three zones of the state, Zone A, B and C. The good works of Alh Abubakar Sani Bello shall deepens this gentleman rotation as the peoples governor is not only entitled to a second term which his zone logically deserves but performed credibly for a reelection.
If not that I had to count my years on earth during my last birthday, I would not have ever known how much numbers could be especially in corroboration with ages. Ages in the sense of calendar day, week, month and years count.
So, as much as numbers could be, the restoration government of Mr governor, Alh Abubakar Sani Bello has successfully executed and completed a much over seven hundred projects across the state. While they are too numerous to mention, it cut across the education sector, health intervention, civil service reforms, agriculture, rural development, infrastructure, bilateral relations and post generational impacts.
To say the least, agitations are a normal expectations in any developed democracy like of Niger state and therefore, Nigerlites must not expect a work over for the incumbent government but strive to sustain the stock and processes of the day for it is only through this that the state will be able to attain the desired destination of the well traveled, rich but humble governor and his team of proficient hands who are up and doing to take the state to promise land.
Glad to say that for the very first time, there is no neighborhood I'm Niger state where the governor's hand is not on the wall as his projects are not just evenly spread but runs state round like the flow of oil from a stained finger to the rest fingers. History they say will and shall only remember people by the legacies they live behind and so, it is a collective responsibility to leverage, promote and call for the sustainability of the days light. In the end, the pride shall be for all Nigerlites!
