Abu Lolo: Succeeding Like an Evolving Eruption By Comrade Muhammed Nasir
The leadership of Niger state led by his excellency who prefers to be addressed Mr governor, Alh Abubakar Sani Bello is unarguably one of the best performing state in Nigeria but as a result of the conserved nature of its strides, it seem to be missing on news and online daily headlines.
This is however not farfetched from the originating effects of it been branded as a "restoration" government for restoration is either return of glory or making available the needful. To buttress this, the government of Mr governor has without ambiguity constructed access and mobility roads within the nooks and cranny of Minna without noise much more than any government since the history of the state.
While they are too numerous to mention, a quick check or run up in Minna suburbs will give the practical impression of these facts. To start with, the construction of Lagos Street road within a non stop period of six months, construction of alternative Bida by pass route from Fadikpe to Gbeganu in the same way Kuta by pass was constructed without media hyping is only a tip of the many unsung good works of Abu lolo.
In the same low key manner, Sabongari in Nasarawa ward has been given a facelift via the asphalt overlay in the area road. For those conversant with western by pass, the government has in the true meanings of restoration constructed Kwangila junction entrance road to burst at the popular Dadin Kowa new lay out. Still on suburb roads construction, the Mypa Emir street and El Waziri estate routes of Bosso are places to point at.
As a matter of fact, the construction of these suburb roads doesn't just show how committed the present government is to doing the needful but a big blow that puts to shame successive government's that made it their campaign songs to "year in - year out" promise constructing these roads only to turn their back on their hills whenever elections are won.
By and large, election is gradually approaching and there is no doubt in the fact that at the right time, the good works of Mr governor will speak for itself. In fact, they shall evolve like an eruption and only then the naysayers will bury their heads in shame when testimonies begin to speak for itself. But until then, I call on all well meaning Nigerlites to put aside myopic sentiments and join hands with the Niger restoration team and move the state to enviable heights.
