MY CANDIDATE NIGER SOUTH SENATORIAL DISTRICT
HON. MOHAMMED SANI IDRIS LEGBO KUTIGI.
I have tried and work hard not to get involved in this debate , and I have also found out the more I try to avoid it , it keep resurfacing were I least expected it. Without iota of doubt I am part of those who feel that generally that people of Niger South senatorial district have not enjoyed the impact of generational leadership more than seventeen years to the return of this Democratic dispensation. Our resources have not been fully utilized to the good of the Youth and women who form overwhelming majority of our electorate, mediocrity and marginalization has been entrenched to a level never seen before, so it is with this poor records of achievement from generation of those to whom politics is their fore father property and the way of survival ,they feed and depend only on political largesse in their lives, to them everyone and the entire ZONE A is of no value if their pockets and cronies, are filled up even after they amass enough to sustain them, they still not contented with that piece all they think is their sons, daughters, wives, brothers, sisters, son in laws, brother in laws and sister in laws.
Some are stingy to themselves because not even immediate relation benefited from their wealth and opportunities, some are so wicked that even their blood brother still squatting in the same room with their wives, while completed mansions and uncompleted ones scattered every nook and cranny of our country, some are just like a local lantern, it only lighting the far objects not the immediate subjects, some are still jumping the fence like a primary pupils and some are still displaying their primitive tendencies through wrist watch and shoes they wore and some engaging in giving jobs/employment to foreigners that ordinary should be allocated to our people. So many bad things that is capable of portray bad image our People and the land at large.
Those big wings care not about our roads, schools, health care and populace, some of them have had every opportunities at to transform our society at local, state and federal levels, but unfortunately they end up disappointing our generation and the generation yet unborn. Those people grand stand and show off at any slight opportunity, to the present generation of so many ideas with little implementation, a generation filled with technocrats in quote which has successful created a large gap and separation with the youths, what they see and how they see seems to be totally different and at variance with the overwhelming majority of electorates.
In this period of uncertainty and trying times that the people of Niger South senatorial district find themselves again at the cross road with the forthcoming 2019 elections across the corner. Where the good, the bad, and ugly trying to use power of incumbency and public money to buy everybody, remember the time has come when your money and power will be meaningless, connection, power and money will no longer be your savior, what remain most is your actions, deeds, records and relationship with your people and how you manage the previous offices You occupied.
The die for now is cast with the main and regular big wings in ZONE A trying to outmaneuver each other in the race to who occupy the RED chamber seat coming 2019. It is a political Battle between the ruling party APC much of whom have their political roots from the PDP and opposition party PDP the mother of APC(except PMB, OSIBANJO AND TIMIBU).
Originally, the ruling party was never a political party, is just a mere conglomerate of child of necessity to win elections. One can only call APC a political party after 2019 election . what happen in 2011 was that APC never fought PDP to win election at all but PDP fought PDP to give APC mandate.
As we look forward to 2019, the question is what is in for the people of Niger South senatorial district, is it that we are hopeless and hapless or is it that we are going to continue sitting and watching as our destiny and generation yet unborn continuously being toiled with number of candidates with tainted character, intellectual vegetables, domitable courage, their minds and anus,filled and adulterated with corrupt tendencies.
Whisc is capable of diminishing our glory and ambition at the end of it all. So for that ,are we going to open our eyes without we have a say as to which direction we should move? The answer is off course NO, then we must prod and ask questions as to what these gentlemen's have for us in ZONE A, at least let us starty from there , let us all collectively have a say on how we would be govern based on a credible and honest and capable hands to led us , as maxcom x said "the future belong to those who prepared for it today " and john Kennedy said " those who Live in the past and present are certainly going to miss the future".
Based on my candid opinion and my inward conviction I present to you my senatorial candidate (NIGER SOUTH).
