The honorable member representing Ankpa 2 constituency at the Kogi state house of assembly, Hon Alhaji Alfa Momoh Rabiu has cleared the medical bill of an accident victim, Miss Ibolo Hafsatu hospitalised at the Federal Medical Center, Lokoja.
The patient who was the only surviving victim of an autocrash accident in December, 2015 was since then abandoned by close family relatives due to the implications of an expected high operation cost for four surgeries.
While receiving the donation, Miss Hafsatu thanked Hon Rabiu Alfa for the uncommon gesture noting that his helping hand is coming at a time she has lost hope of any human intervention praying that God rewards him with the highest benefits of such magnanimity.
Earlier, while welcoming the honorable who was accompanied by his wife, Madam Lucia Odah, the representative of the chief medical director, Mr Abdullahi expressed surprise at the reality that beckoned recalling how the poor young lady went through emotional depression that arose from her predicament and prayed to God almighty to reward the very ebullient honorable.
On his part, the chief Nursing officer, Mr Dan Ameh who was flanked by Mrs R. Musa at the female surgical ward extolled the honorable the uncommon show of love to his people even as Mrs Musa couldn't withhold the tears of joy rolling from her eyes as the people's honorable promised to give the patient further care.
It will be recalled that the distinguished member heard of the incidence for the very first time on Sunday 11th March, 2018 during an appeal for assistance while he was attending an inaugural session of the G20 Ankpa Brothers in Lokoja and he instantly promised to arrest further appeal by singularly offsetting the bill.
