Ports Development: Bago Tour Maritime Facilities in China.

Today, Hon Mohammed Umaru Bago in continuation of his official assignment in China, embarks on an aerial (aboard Helicopter) to port facility assessment tour of Cranes Depot in Nisham province.
Since his arrival in the Communist State, Hon Bago has been meeting with Chinese Investors and Manufacturers of the Maritime and Ports Equipment and Facilities while, assuring the Lawmaker of their resolve and readiness to come into Nigeria and invest in the Maritime industry.
It could be recall that, the visit is sequel to a presidential resolve to turn shift he nation economy from that which is heavily oil dependent to other sectors like Maritime and Agriculture. And the FG has turned it attention towards massive development of Ports and enhancement of facilities within and outside it.
Upon that resolve and PMB's determination, the House Speaker, Hon. Yakubu Dogara mandated the Chairman of House of Representative Committee on Maritime, Safety, Administration and Education to travel to China in other to meet with Investors and Manufacturers and inspect equipments to be ordered for Nigeria's Ports.
Interestingly, our own Baro Inland Port is coming to life soonest and among the Equipments Hon. Bago is inspecting to be procured is for Baro Port in Niger State and other Dry Ports across other parts of Nigeria. And, I can confidently reports that, Hon Umaru Bago has play a significant role in seeing this projects come to fruition. For Bago, supporting PMB's agenda is a habit and tradition for a Progressive like him.
Its on record that, Hon Mohammed Bago places much premium in making Nigerian Government under the able leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari gets value and maximum benefits for all monies spent in the Maritime industry and, to also make the industry's regulator; NIMASA more accountable with a view of making it more efficient as it handles one of Nigeria's top revenue earner.
This and others engagements is what Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago has been doing since he came on board as the Chairman of the highly respected and influential Maritime Committee of the House of Representatives, which is the true House of the Nigerian People. He has been very active, thorough and vigorous in his oversight.
This and many others are why we think the People's Representative will even do better if reelected for the third time (3X) to represent Chanchaga federal constituency at the Green Chambers. While believing the end the result for such decision to return Bago will be a Win-Win situation for the Peoples of Chanchaga federal constituency.
