DISTINGUISHED SENATOR SANI MUSA VISITS KUTA IDP CAMP TO SYMPATHIZE WITH DISPLACED VICTIMS OF CRIMINAL ARMED BANDITS, VOW TO WORK WITH FEDERAL AND STATE GOVERNMENT TO RESTORE SECURITY TO THE REGION
Distinguished Senator Mohammed Sani Musa Earlier today was in Kuta in Niger State to sympathize with his people at the IDP camp that is housing the displaced persons from various communities as a result of the renewed activities of criminal armed Bandits in his constituency and to also ascertain the extent of damage and havoc wreaked on them as he was out of the country when the incident took place, Senator Sani Musa had to cut short his trip and return immediately to attend to the pressing issue, The Senator interacted with the displaced persons to know their problems and saw how devastated they have been, he also inspected the camp and promised to do all within his power to ensure that the camp is habitable for them as there are old people and children living terrible conditions there.
Upon his return, Senator Sani Musa immediately communicated the situation to President Muhammadu Buhari and the National Security Adviser (NSA), Rtd Major General Babagana Munguno and will meet with them as soon as Mr. President gets back from his trip.
The senator vow to work with Governor Abubakar Sani Bello led State Government, Federal Government, security agencies and relevant stakeholders in the state to ensure that the communities are kept safe and sound for the people and reoccurrence of such kind of situation averted.
“Our people deserve to have peace of mind in their homes and communities and it is our responsibility to ensure we give them that and more, it’s the reason we were voted to lead”.
You can recall that Senator Sani Musa is currently sponsoring a Bill to Establish a Civil Defence Academy in Pandogori, when this bill is passed, and the academy is established, it will strengthen the security of lives and properties in the region and state as a whole.
