SENATOR BIMA PLEADE FOR THE COMPLETION OF BARO PORT

Senator Bima Mohammed,senator representing Niger South Senatorial district has identified lack of access road, maintenance dredging and other operational components as factors hindering the full take-off of the Baro port .

Mr Bima stated this

when he led delegation of Federal and State lawmakers to the port

“This is something that can be done even in one year. It is not rocket science; it is something that can be done easily.”

He said the completion of Baro Port would bring thousands of jobs to Nigerlites and Nigerians.

Senator Bima pleaded with Muhammadu Buhari led administration to complete the project before the tenure elapse by 202.

Mr Bima said that for the port to become optimally operational, there was need for the maintenance dredging so that the river would be de-silted.
