*HON. MUREGI BOOSTS TRANSPORTATION AND LEGISLATIVE MOBILITY*

The Executive Chairman of Mokwa Local Government, Hon. (Amb) Jibril Abdullahi Muregi, has taken a significant stride towards enhancing the local economy with the commissioning of three buses for Mokwa Local Government Transport Services. The move is aimed at alleviating the challenges faced by travelers while concurrently boosting the Internal Generated Revenue (IGR) of the local government.

In his opening remarks, Hon. Muregi emphasized the imperative need to stimulate economic growth within the local government area. He highlighted the council's commitment to improving the welfare of the people of Mokwa LGA by acquiring the buses, which are set to ease the burden of transportation.

Additionally, Hon. Muregi demonstrated his dedication to legislative efficiency by donating ten motorcycles to the Mokwa Local Government legislators. This gesture is expected to enhance their mobility across their respective wards, ensuring more effective representation.

Hon. Zakari Yau Rabba, the State APC Deputy Chairman, commended the Chairman for surpassing expectations in fulfilling the mandate entrusted on him. He praised the Chairman for aligning with the *#Newniger agenda* of the Farmer Governor, HE Umar Muhammad Bago.

During the event, Hon. Sunday Daniel Yisa, Chairman, Edati Local Government, expressed appreciation for the transformative initiative of his colleague. He presented a key to one of the buses and pledged to replicate same in his local government. 

Other speakers, including Hon. Danlami Abdullahi Saku, Katcha Local Government Chairman, urged beneficiaries to continue supporting the Chairman in order to achieve more collaborative successes.

The event was graced by Mokwa Council Members and other prominent party officials, showcased a united front in the pursuit of sustainable development. Notable attendees included Hon.
