Hon. Jibril Abdullahi Muregi, Executive Chairman of Mokwa Local Government has been formally turbarned as the new Dan Ajiyan Nupe, to be greeted DAUDU. The event took place earlier today at the Wadata palace, Bida Niger State by His Royal Highness, Alh. (Dr) Yahaya Abubakar CFR, Estu Nupe and Chairman Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers.
The ceremony was joyously graced by dignitaries from all walks of life, some of the notables ones includes: Prof Mamman Saba, Secretary to the State Government, Kwara State, Prof. Dickinson O. Akoh, National Commandant Peace Corps of Nigeria, Sen. Muhammed Bima Enagi, former senator Niger South, Hon. Shehu Kagara, former House of Reps Member, Rafi, Shiroro and Munya, Hon. Muhammed Nda, former Gubernatorial aspirant, Hon. (Dr) Muhammad Muhammad Kpautagi, former Gubernatorial aspirant, Hon. Abubakar Bawa Bwari, former Minister of the Federal Republic, Council Chairmen from Lapai, Gbako, Edati, Paikoro, Edu and Patigi Local Governments.Comr.
