OPEN LETTER TO MEMBERS OF THE 9Th NATIONAL ASSEMBLY

SUBJECT: BAGO SPEAKERSHIP BID

As the days draw nearer and closer and the matter of the 9th National Assembly Leadership becomes intense and eminent among issues of national discuss; it has become expedient and quite salient that a leadership that is most acceptable, popular and experience is given very close consideration by the  returning members and newly elected members of the Green Chamber (House of Reps) and other key players in the  selection and election of who will lead the team to deliver a better democratic agenda for the greater good of all.

While, I welcome the newly elected National Assembly members and the returning members, I want to urge you all to be guided by patriotic spirit and nation building mindset; this requires that you all come together to do the needful by selecting and electing a leader that you can relate well with and one that is self-motivated, a visionary leader and one that is a bridge builder who will carry every member of the house along in ensuring great democratic and political milestones are achieved.

Hon. Mohammmed Umar Bago, member representing Chanchaga Local government constituency of Niger State in the North Central Region of Nigeria is without any doubt, the perfect man for the job of the Speaker, House of Representative and as such, I want to use this medium to encourage members of House of Representative to rally strongly behind him in ensuring he emerge victorious and elected to lead the Green Chamber.

He is a dynamic man, who has proven himself over time that, he is a dependable man, trustworthy, intelligent, vision driven, goal-getter and an experienced hand to lead the house, in order to make the needed democratic gains for the country.

He has made great contributions as a two time member of the house of Representative and has sponsored very critical bills that has added value to the socio-economic development of the country and coming for the third time; if given the opportunity to lead the house as Speaker, he will bring to bear his intellectual ability, great leadership skills, experience and above all ensure unity among the members of the National Assembly to drive positive programs for the development of the country.

 

 

 

He is a de-tribalized person, proactive and very knowledgeable personality that will work cordially with the members to achieve a lot for the Country, if given the privilege and opportunity to serve in the capacity of Speaker, House of Reps.

I therefore want to appeal to all the members of the house of representative to rally round and support Bago candidature   to ensure we enjoy growth and development in Nigeria.
