AN UNSUNG HERO

There are people who are naturally silent achievers, they allow their actions to speak for them .

One of such persons is Makun Mokwa, Alhaji Abdullahi Ndafogi Nasiru ,the immediate past Member one ,Niger State Universal Basic Education Board. 

Alhaji Ndafogi, as he is fondly called has been an achiever since he joined politics. 

As an executive council chairman of Mokwa Local Government in the ill fated third republic, his achievements are glaringly, in the said period, he was given  award as one of the top three local government chairmen in Nigeria. 

He was a deputy governorship aspirant under the platform of ACN ,one of the parties that merged and becomes APC .

Since the coming of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello and Alhaji Ndafogi appointment along with his colleagues  ,they achieved great success in elementary education sector .

The recent  recruitment of teachers by Niger State Government, which unfortunately, has been cancelled by the state government due to irregularities in the exercise. 

It's worthy of note that  zone A  which Alhaji Abdullahi Ndafogi Nasiru supervised did 

better than other zones in term of performance  ,this was achieved due to the foresight and transparency nature of Makun Mokwa. 

He made sure only qualified and indigenous people were selected. 

Even in his native local government, Mokwa, he made sure the right thing was done .He brought the much needed infrastructures to primary schools in the local government. 

It should be note ,in the past ,classrooms with storey buildings are not sited in Mokwa and environs ,Alhaji Ndafogi efforts has made that possible  ,it's a big plus to the people of Mokwa Local Government. 

No one do away with achievers, it is our prayers,that the executive governor of Niger State returns Alhaji Abdullahi Ndafogi Nasiru to continue with his good works.
