Hon. Jibrin Abdullahi Muregi's resounding victory in the just-concluded local government elections is a testament to his leadership and the trust the people of Mokwa Local Government have placed in him. He has made history by becoming the first re-elected council chairman in the local government's history. With a significant margin of 15,890 votes, Hon. Muregi's APC garnered 27,100 votes, while his closest opponent, Hon. Gimba Usman Alhaji of PDP, secured 11,210 votes.
