When it was announced that Hon. Sani Kutigi would be contesting for the Senate, it brought joy to a lot of people in Niger South Senatorial District. They know the man for the job is here, and better days are around the corner.
After the release of the APC campaign timetable and sale of forms, Hon. Sani Kutigi embarked on a tour of Niger South where he met party officials and other stakeholders.
The campaign tour began from Lapai Local Government. Thousands of people trooped out to welcome the campaign train. Honourable Kutigi met with party executives and also paid a courtesy call to the Emir's palace. The people assured Hon. Sani Kutigi of their support.
The next point of call was Agaie and Katcha Local Governments. Just like Lapai, the campaign train was well received. A lot of people gave good commendations of Hon. Sani Kutigi. They unanimously agreed to work assiduously and ensure Hon. Sani Kutigi emerged victorious.
The following day, the campaign train was at Mokwa, Edati and Lavun Local Governments. In Mokwa, it was a huge success as the people showed Hon. Sani Kutigi is well accepted. They voiced out in support of his aspiration. The same thing happened in Edati. The people showed love and let Sani Kutigi know he is their preferred choice.
In Kutigi, headquarters of Lavun Local Government, which is the hometown of Hon. Sani Kutigi, the people showed Sani Kutigi is well loved and appreciated at home. It seemed almost half of the people of the town were at the venue of the event. Truly, it was a homecoming.
On the third day, the campaign train was in Gbako and Bida. Massive love was shown. The people appreciated Hon. Sani Kutigi for his achievements as a member of the House of Representatives. In one voice, they gave their word and promised to do everything legally possible to ensure Hon. Sani Kutigi emerged.
The tour was not just a tour. It was an opportunity to interact with the people, share their joy and pain.
The love shown by the people is an indication of the overwhelming support Hon. Sani Kutigi enjoys.
With this, one can confidently say Hon. Sani Kutigi is well positioned to win the APC primaries and also ride to victory in the general elections.
