GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF HYPADDEC RESETTLEMENT HOUSING SCHEME FOR VICTIMS OF FLOODING IN MUREGI AND KETSO COMMUNITIES IN NIGER STATE
In order to alleviate hardship communities in riverine areas go through, HYPADDEC was established to take care of the needs of communities ravaged by flood ..
In line with the vision and foresight of the management of HYPADDEC the commission decided to come to the rescue of communities who are experiencing flooding and resettle them.Some of the communities includes Ketso and Muregi all in Mokwa local Government area of Niger State.
The ground breaking ceremony was colourful and well attended by the staff ,management of the commission
and state government officials.
Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello graced the occasion along with his deputy, Alh Ahmed Mohammed Ketso.
Also in attendance were the Managing Director of HYPADDEC, Alh . Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa ,Etsu Nupe ,Alh Yahaya Abubakar, Mokwa Local Government Council Chairman, Alh Jibrin Muregi among others.
The people of the communities thanks HYPADDEC for this giant stride ,they said with the resettlement, lost of lives and properties will soon be a thing of the past .
