*Hon. Jibril Abdullahi Muregi,* the digital Executive Chairman of Mokwa Local Government, has again taken a step towards unlocking the immense potential inherent in the agricultural sector of Mokwa Local Government Area. In a courtesy call on the distinguished Rt. Hon. Muhammad Mahmood Abubakar PhD., the erudite and illustrious Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development earlier today in his office in Abuja, the Chairman put forward a compelling case for the provision of crucial agricultural inputs, construction of rural markets, the establishment of vital infrastructure and the construction of ultramodern silos and trailer parks in Mokwa.

The Chairman's requests, which include the provision of subsidized agricultural inputs, construction of rural markets, establishment of critical infrastructure in College of Agric, and the construction of modern silos and trailer parks, demonstrate his keen understanding of the critical role of agriculture in the development of Mokwa Local Government. His visionary leadership and strategic thinking in articulating these requests reflect his commitment to enhancing the agricultural sector's productivity and stimulating socio-economic growth.

It is evident that the Hon. Muregi's requests align with the government's policy thrust of diversifying the economy and improving food security through agriculture. The proposed construction of rural markets, establishment of vital infrastructure, and construction of ultramodern silos, will not only bolster the agricultural value chain in Mokwa but also attract local and international investors, thereby creating more job opportunities and boosting the local economy.

Furthermore, the proposed construction of a trailer park will significantly reduce traffic congestion along the Mokwa-Jebba-Lagos road and provide a safe and conducive environment for the transportation of agricultural produce, enhancing the sector's competitiveness and ensuring food security.

In response, the Honorable Minister of expressed his appreciation for the Chairman's visit and his visionary leadership. He commended the Chairman's requests and assured him of the government's commitment to actualizing them in the shortest possible time. "I will try to visit Mokwa to see things for myself after the elections." the Minister added.
