The Executive Chairman ,Mokwa Local Government, Hon Jibril Abdullahi Muregi, has won the national category for Security by Rootswatch Magazine for the year
2023 Distinguished Local Government Chairmen Merit Award.
Since assuming office as council chairman, Hon Muregi has been on top of the situation concerning the issues of security and others . He has been applauded for taming insecurity.
The official ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 22nd June, 2023, at the National Merit House, Maitama, Abuja.
